Built in 1895, the St. Andoche on West End Avenue is a little building with a big name. Its solid construction is thanks to the fortune that bankrolled it — one amassed by Maggie Mitchell, powerhouse of the American stage in the Civil War era. Caitlin Hawke shares the story of both the actress and “her” UWS building on Zoom on 10/27 at 6:30pm.
