This seminar is designed for brokers who are looking to gain an understanding of New York City Zoning regulations, how zoning has evolved and continues to change, and how zoning affects neighborhoods. Expert speakers will discuss the history of land-use regulations and the overlap of zoning and historic preservation, with a focus on contextual zoning (designed to protect neighborhood character), Transfer of Development Rights, and other current issues shaping New York City’s skyline.
