Alterations: facade painted and possibly stuccoed; globe finials removed from entryway hood; paneled wood-and-glass door; stained-glass transoms removed from first, second and third story fenestration; facade originally continuous with 40 West 106th Street at second and third stories; iron handrail at stoop; security gate at stoop; ironwork at areaway; lighting at entryway
