Description:  No. 331 Riverside Drive is now occupied by the American Buddhist Academy. This elegant brick and limestone house was designed by Janes & Leo as one of a group of three practically identical houses, of which two remain (Nos. 331 and 333). They were all built by Joseph A. Farley in 1901-02. In the rusticated first floor of No. 331, there is a garlanded entrance flanked by a window with grille and a service door. At the parlor floor three French windows crowned by “broken-arch”-pediments have arched transom bars. A heavy cornice supported on interestingly carved corbels separates the third and fourth floors.
