History: Originally built as a single family home, by 1930 321 had become a rooming house. It was later converted into an apartment house. One of five row houses by Mortimer P. Thain, 321 was included in a proposed West 82nd Street Historic District, along with 310-316, 307-319, and 323-325 West 82nd Street, that was heard in 1986.
