Elements: Five-story rowhouse; projecting rusticated limestone first floor; full-width swell front of grey Roman brick with limestone trim above; low stoop with limestone railing and bluestone treads; double-leaf, varnished wood and plate glass entry door; entrance porticoes with Corinthian columns and carved frieze with balustraded railing above; string courses at each window level flat limestone window enframements: stepped lintels at the fifth. story; pressed metal cornice with dentil molding and scrolled modillions; wrought-iron grilles on first floor windows and service entrance.

History: Built as one of a row of four houses (Nos. 302-308)  As designed, No. 308 appears to have been similar to No. 302 West 78th Street.
